Cyprus is an idyllic holiday place to visit
A Cyprus holiday offers more options than days lazing on the beach and partying the night away in Ayia Napa. If you’re a couple in search of activities and places of historical interest, or a family looking for safe family friendly beaches and activities to keep the children occupied, travel to Cyprus to fill your holiday desires. The west coast of Cyprus is the ideal location if you’re looking for traditional charm, a slower pace of life and architectural heritage, whilst Eastern Cyprus is arguably the place to find Cyprus’s most beautiful beaches and secluded coves.
Pathos town in Cyprus is one of the most popular resorts on the island because it combines being a UNESCO world heritage site with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Pathos and has a beautiful harbour and plenty of restuarants and bars. The Pathos weather and the island of Cyprus is glorious with around 300 days of sunshine per annum. With the superb climate, why not spend each evening in one of the many famous Pathos restaurants
A few kilometers to the north lies the fast developing resort of Coral Bay Beach which is a more peaceful alternative to Pathos, and boasts probably the best beach in Western Cyprus. There’s a large choice of quality hotels, catering for all your holiday needs. Enclosed by a couple of rocky headlands, the popular slowly shelving sandy beach is the ideal location to relax and enjoy the Cypriot sunshine. Recliner beds and parasols can be rented for the day at reasonable rates. Coral Bay beach has the benefit of a convenient beach side bar offering drinks, food and toilet facilities. Coral Bay beach also has a large free car park.
